Painted my nails black, and picking out my gothiest outfit (ha).

After the show: beers and Lorenzo's.  Tomorrow: have the day off with my husband, sleeping in and probably eating more pizza.

Been battling a stomach virus for a couple days now.  Made cornbread this afternoon, it's the only thing I can handle looking at, smelling, or eating.

But the Phillies are on TV, and that helps.

regrets

I hate coming back from a shopping trip with regrets.  I was trying to save a little dough, but now I wish I'd just bought the damn dress.  Hopefully this can be rectified.

In other news, I'm an amazing personal shopper.  Seriously.  Hire me.

whew!

Been so busy recently, and lots of exciting stuff is on the horizon (I booked not one but TWO vacations on Thursday, for starters).  Made bread today, read three books this week, got a haircut, and went to see Tennis and La Sera last night.  Good show, I felt like I was seeing something special in the early stages - Tennis is so utterly adorable it hurts to look at them.  She looks straight out of a "Don't Copy That Floppy" ad from 1986, and he has James Spader down to a T, sockless penny loafers and all.  I sang along and drank three cans of Sofia, the most perfect drink ever created for shows: small portion, in a can, with a bendy straw.  So conducive to dancing your face off.

Tonight is the Dum Dum Girls, in about 90 minutes.  It feels good to go out two nights in a row.
And tomorrow is a personal shopping gig :)
